CIRCULARGUARD / A CLEAR NEXT STEP

Electronics recycling

Clear out retired equipment with a plan for what happens next. CircularGuard coordinates collection, sorting, and recovery options around your equipment, site, and documentation needs.

Equipment to include in your request

List laptops, desktops, monitors, printers, network equipment, cables, and loose components separately. Include approximate counts, condition, and whether devices contain storage media. A mixed pallet needs a different intake plan from a uniform laptop refresh.

Sort before choosing a destination

Working equipment may be suitable for reuse review; incomplete or damaged units may be candidates for parts or material recovery. Data-bearing items need a separate data-handling decision. Batteries, damaged screens, and unusual equipment should be identified before collection so acceptance and handling can be confirmed.

Define the closeout before pickup

Agree whether the project requires item counts, weights, serial numbers, or a combination. Request a summary that separates reuse, recycling, and other treatment routes. If a downstream outcome is still pending, the closeout should show that status rather than imply completion.

What to share for a project review

  • Equipment categories and counts
  • Pickup address and access details
  • Storage media and battery information
  • Required inventory and recovery records

Frequently asked questions

Can everything on a pallet be recycled together?

Not automatically. Share the contents first. Storage media, batteries, liquids, and damaged equipment may need separate handling or a different receiving route.

Does recycling also remove the data?

Recycling and data sanitization are separate decisions. Include any data-bearing equipment in the request and agree the data treatment and evidence before release.
